Finishing processes are done as per requirement after construction of fabrics. Depending on application, finishing may or may not be required. Below are some of the various finishing processes done our fabrics.

  • SCOURING

A process to remove the impurities such as oils, was, gums, soluble impurities and dirt commonly found in textile material and produce a hydrophilic and clean cloth.

  • HEAT SETTING

A process to stabilize the yarns within the fabric to assure the uniformity of the fabric and to eliminate shrinkage when subjected to elevated temperatures in a process application.

  • CALENDARING

A mechanical finishing process used on cloth where the fabric is passed under rollers at high temperatures and pressures which increases its smoothness and reduces air permeability.

  • SLITTING

A process to covert wide rolls of fabric in to smaller widths fabrics within a very tight tolerance.

  • SPECIAL FINISHES
